Terms and conditions of our #70MinsofHome Summer competition

      By entering this competition you are accepting the rules as outlined below:
  1. The promoter of this competition is FRS Recruitment, Derryvale, Roscrea, Co Tipperary unless otherwise stated.
  2. Participation in FRS competitions denotes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions (as may be amended at any time) and any additional competition specific terms and conditions which may be advertised. Any person found to be in disregard of these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified automatically.
  3. FRS retains the rights to use the material provided by the competition entrants in our videos and other promotional materials. 
 
The Prize

  1. The winner will receive a one way, non transferrable flight to Ireland for either them or their tagged friend and two tickets to the 2022 All Ireland Hurling or Football Final.
  2. The winning entry will also feature in the FRS Recruitment 70 Minutes of Summer film and may feature in future FRS Recruitment videos. 
  3. The prizes of a one way economy flight for ONE person and two All Ireland Final 2022 tickets must be used by the competition winners only. The person travelling home & competition winner must attend the final.
  4. We reserve the right to request proof of a prize winner's and friend's identity in the form of a passport or driver’s license and proof of address in the form of a utility bill to ensure at least one of them live outside the island of Ireland. In the event that a prize winner cannot provide us with proof of identity and/or address that is reasonably acceptable to us, we may withdraw the prize and select another prize winner.
  5.  The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. The prize must be taken on the dates specified by us (or any relevant third party provider). Prize winners will forfeit any element of their prize that they do not take at the time stipulated in the specific terms. No cash will be awarded in lieu of that prize or any part of it.
  6. Any tax or other charges payable as a result of a prize being awarded or received will be the responsibility of the winner. Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize if this is a concern.
  7. No additional, further or other costs or expenses are included in as part of the prize. For example, the costs of transport to and from an airport, hotel and accommodation costs etc.
  8. It will be the responsibility of the prize winner to take out at their own cost all relevant insurance.

  9. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure their ability to travel to Ireland and in particular, to:

    a. ensure that they have a valid passport endorsed with all relevant visas and with expiry date no less than six (6) months following the proposed dates of travel or such other duration as may be required by any relevant regulation. These passports, and their holders, must not be subject to any restrictions on their rights to travel to and from the applicable country or countries. Passport control and in-country authorities may reserve the right to refuse entry to prize winners and/or their travelling companions;

    b. check any travel advisories issued by the Government and determine whether they wish to accept the risk of travelling to the holiday destination;

    c. obtain any inoculation and comply with any health regulations required ; and

    d. comply with the terms and limitations of airlines, other transport providers, and the venues involved in the provision of the prize, including any insurance policy relating to the prize. In particular, entrants must comply with all health and safety guidelines and instructions and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

  10. We will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the prize winners  that arises out of their failure to arrive at the destination or return home, nor will we have any obligation to substitute an alternative prize, cash equivalent or other compensation where a prize winner is unable to travel to Ireland or fails to redeem the prize for any reason.


How to enter
  1. Competition entrants and those tagged must be over 18 years of age.

  2. Eligible entrants must complete the following against either the main and/or mini competition posts on Facebook:

    a) They must describe what they love about an Irish summer

    b) This must be accompanied by an original image or video

    c) They must mention and/or tag the person they are missing and who would accompany them to the All Ireland Final in 2022.
    d) They must like & share the post and follow FRS Recruitment's Facebook page
  3. If the entrant is living within the island of Ireland the person that is tagged should be living outside of the island of Ireland. If the entrant is based outside of the island of Ireland the person they have tagged should be based within the island of Ireland to be eligible.
  4. Eligible entrants may enter as many times as they like.
  5. FRS Recruitment, FRS Network employees and their immediate families (and the employees of any third party sponsors, vendors, prize providers or their immediate families) may not enter this competition. 
  6. In entering the competition you hereby warrant that the photograph or video does not contravene any act, statutory instrument nor is it in any other way illegal, defamatory, seditious or blasphemous or an infringement of any copyright, trademark or industrial design and is an original photograph or video of the entrant.
  7. Competition winners including entrants and those tagged must be residents and/or citizens of Ireland. Dual citizenship is acceptable as long as one of those citizenships is Irish. 
  8. Photographs or videos entered must have be taken within or around the island of Ireland, or of enjoying a piece of Ireland abroad and be original.
  9. The competition will be open for entries from the 23rd of June 2021 to the 19th of August 2021. The shortlist of 5 finalists will be announced on the 23rd of August 2021. The main winner will be announced on the 31st of August 2021.
  10. The shortlist of finalists will be judged by the FRS Recruitment GAAGO ambassadors Tony Kelly, Shane Walsh and Brid Stack and a committee of FRS Recruitment nominees. Their decision will be final and not subject to review.
  11. The winner will be selected based on public vote through Facebook and announced through Facebook.
  12. The winner of the Summer competition is the entry with the most public votes/likes.

    Disqualification
  1. Use of a false name or address by a competition entrant will disqualify them from winning or receiving any prize.
  2. The Promoter may disqualify you at any time if the Promoter is of the view that you have not complied fully with the terms and conditions contained herein.
  3. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that permits any person to enter any Competition repeatedly is prohibited.
   Publicity and Personal Information 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to publish any photos and videos entered into the competition and the names of any entrants/winners in connection with advertising or promoting the campaign or the business of the promoter without prior permission from the entrants.
  2. It is the responsibility of the entrants and winners to ensure that any necessary permission required to enter a photograph or video into the competition is obtained.
  3. Entrants must ensure that any photographs and videos containing people faces, have been taken with the permission of the person(s) in the photograph or video.
  4. It is a condition of entry that we have the right to publish and/or broadcast the first name, home town of Competition finalists and winners.
  5. Entrants acknowledge that we may edit the photographs or video in our sole discretion;
  6. Entrants agree not to bring any actions, suits, claims and demands against us in respect of defamation or any infringement or violation of any personal and/or property rights of any sort from our use of their photograph or video
  7. Entrants unconditionally waive their right to seek or obtain an injunction to prevent or restrict our use of the photographs;

  8. Entrants, particularly prize winners, may be required to participate in photo, recording, video and/or filming session(s). You agree that we shall have the right to use all the resulting publicity materials in any media and in any manner we see fit, unless you advise us at the time of entering the Competition that you wish to retain your anonymity. If you elect for anonymity, we may not be able to include you in certain Competitions. This includes providing these materials to our third party prize providers for the purposes of promoting their association with the Competition and awarding the relevant prizes.

  9. No fees shall be payable to any entrant in relation to the use of publicity materials.

  10. The personal information supplied by entrants when entering will be used by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You should always read our Privacy Policy . All entrants may have their details removed from our database by contacting us If details are removed prior to the conclusion of the Competition and/or award of prize(s), entrants will forfeit their right to claim any prizes.

 
    General
  1. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, conduct or the results of a competition the decision of FRS will be final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
  2. In the event of fraud, abuse, and/or an error affecting the proper operation of this competition, FRS reserves the right to terminate this competition, amend these terms & conditions, or disqualify any entrant.

  3. Any prize is as stated in the promotions advertising such competition. FRS reserves the right to change prize details without notice and all prizes are subject to availability. If, due to circumstances beyond its control a prize becomes unavailable, FRS reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal value.

  4. All competition entries must be received by FRS on Facebook. Neither FRS nor its affiliated entities are responsible for printing or typographical errors in any materials relating to FRS promotions; fraudulent, lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or altered entries; or entries which are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or other technical malfunction. This competition is not affiliated with Facebook in any way.

  5. Prizes are non-transferable and will only be awarded to the winner(s). There will be no cash substitute for the stated prize.

  6. Where a prize is to be provided by a third party, FRS accept no responsibility for the supply, non-supply, purported delay in supply of the prize including the failure of the winner to receive ownership of or use of the prize.

  7. Unless otherwise stated, all taxes, insurance, fees and surcharges on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

  8. Neither FRS nor its agents accept any responsibility whatsoever for any death, injury or other damage, loss, expense or liability arising as a result of taking a prize. Nor will FRS have any liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in any FRS competition or in connection with any of the prizes rewarded.

  9. FRS reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend a competition and/or vary competition rules at any time without prior notice.

  10. This promotion is governed by Irish law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts
